Call for Abstracts
The Organizing Committee invites authors to submit Abstracts for consideration for presentation and inclusion in the program.

Each participant could be first author in no more than 2 abstracts.

Submission
Abstracts can be submitted by Internet via the Congress electronic abstract submission system - www.17mldcongress.com.mk not later than June 15th, 2007.

Spacing: Abstracts must be typed at 10 points, single-spaced in Macedonian or in English and should contain not more than 1000 characters (no spaces) including the title, authors, institutions and the body of the abstract.

Layout
Title: In capital letter, not underlined or bold. Do not identify yourself in the title.
Author(s): Not in capital letters. Write the initials of first names first, and then the family names (eg. P.T. Petrovski). Only the presenting author must be underlined. The underlined name must be the same as indicated in the address for correspondence.
Affiliation: Not in capital letters. When more than one institution are mentioned, please identify them with superscript numerals and not with symbols (e.g. P. Tomovski1, G. Jankovski2, 1 Medicinski centar – Skopje, 2Medicinski centar - Kumanovo etc.).
Text: Use only well known abbreviations or explain abbreviations the first time they appear.

Note: No tables, graphics, pictures.

Acceptance
Authors will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection for presentation, till September 10th, 2007.

Start with the body of the abstract with writing the parts beginning with Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions (written in bold). Do not start with the new line for each part of the abstract body – write it in continuation.

Extended Abstract Instruction for Authors
The authors of the Plenary presentations or Key Note Speeches are invited to submit their work in a form of Extended Abstract, in order to be published in the Proceedings of the Congress.

• The Extended Abstract, including submitted Abstract, title, authors, institutions and references (maximum 10), must be typed at 10 points, single-spaced in Macedonian or in English and should not exceed 4000 characters (no spaces) including the title, authors, institutions and the body of the abstract. Pre rate reduction in the length of the text must be made for tables, figures and illustrations.
  
• The Structure must be similar to the original abstract consist the parts as: abstract, introduction, methods, results and conclusions. Start with the new line for each part of the extended abstract.
  
• Tables must be typed on separated pages and each must have, in separate pages, a brief heading describing its contents. Tables must be numbered and referred to in the main text. Illustration and Figures must be of high quality. References should be numbered in the order in which they appear in the text. At the end of the article the full list of references should give the initial of the first name and name of the first three authors followed by et al. The author(s) name(s) should be followed by the title of the article, the title of the journal, abbreviated according to the style of Index Medicus, the year of publication, the volume number and the first and last page. References to textbooks should give the title of the textbook, which should be followed by the place of publication, the publisher, the year and the relevant pages.
